Annual Regatta 2021

Our Annual Regatta is due to take place on Saturday 26th June 2021. This is the first official event that we have had since before lockdown in February 2020.

I have attached a poster outlining the day's events and we hope to see as many of you as possible.

Although restrictions have been eased we are continuing to follow the social distancing advice in the interest of the health and safety of all members, their guests and visitors.

Racing will commence at 10.30 but we aim to promote all other water based activities. I would encourage our Motor Cruiser owners, Kayakers, Paddle Boarders and swimmers to join the sailing fleet on the water from 2pm onwards.

ACNI is also participating and the team are happy to bring on board anyone who is interested in crewing with them.

We will have a mentor on site to instruct anyone interested and provide guidance if necessary.

We have a bouncy castle organised for the kids and outdoor music throughout the day.

The BBQ will be lit and ready for cooking from 18:00.

In view of the ongoing Covid situation we will not be providing food.

Members and visitors are reminded that we are a licenced premises therefore all drinks must be purchased from the bar.

Live entertainment has also been arranged and will commence at 20.00 if regulations permit.

This is an opportunity for members to get together again, have fun and meet the many new members who have joined us since our 2019 Regatta.

Non members are welcome to trial our facilities and participate in the day's events.

Let's hope we can make this a day to remember and that the weather stays good.
