who is eagle divers…

Eagle divers was formed by Zee who grew up beside the red sea in Egypt and has loved the water from around the age of 10 which is how he has grew into the water baby he is today. Zee has professionally been involved in various water sports from the age of 18 and over the years he has gained numerous qualifications, such as his PADI Master Instructors and SSI Instructors Trainer. The multilingual man (Arabic, English, Italian, Russian & Norwegian) settled in Antrim with family where his wife originates.

Why Lough Neagh…

Lough Neagh is the largest freshwater lake in europe, It covers 160 square miles and drains almost half of Northern Irelands water. Six major rivers flow into Lough neagh while only one, the Lower Bann, flows out. Due to its international importance for wildfowl the Lough is designated as a Ramsar site, Special Protection Area and Area of Special Scientific Interest.

Eagle Divers offers a variety of water sports to suit a range of different abilities. Paddle boarding is a great activity to be enjoyed individually, with your family or a fun activity on the giant paddle board with friends or work colleagues. Hire a kayak with a picnic for a romantic paddle along the edge of Lough Neagh filled with wildlife and even a breathtaking sunset. Or try the water bike, a very steady and safe way to have a cycle on the water.

All activities are based at Antrim Boat Club nestled in the trees at the end of the Six Mile River. Access is off the Randalstown Road, where you will enjoy a picturesque drive down the private lane with the possible sighting of deer, pheasants or a rabbit. ABC has parking and changing facilities.
